Rinitze (NOT REAL)
216 Columbus Ave., New York, NEW YORK (map)
nearest subway: 72nd Street (B,C)
Kramer discovers an Elaine doppelganger mannequin (“it’s like they chopped off your arms and legs, dipped you in plastic, then screwed you all back together and stuck you on a pedestal!”) here, which she later steals from the store. George strategizes on how to get a suit soon to be on sale, having to trick a “fellow 40 short” into not buying the suit. Kramer mentions that the store is downtown, although the exterior is the Uptown Nautica store featured in “The Red Dot.” Thanks Erkan B. for the tip!
EUROPE (map)
Elaine tells the store clerk that “I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing your crummy little Euro-trash rags,” referring specifically to a $1200 Jean-Paul Gauthier dress on “her” mannequin.
Poppie’s (NOT REAL)
1394 Third Ave., New York, NEW YORK (map)
nearest subway: 77th Street (6)
Jerry catches Poppie not washing his hands (“Poppie’s…a little sloppy”)…and then refuses to try his pizza, in a similar fashion to Audrey’s refusal of his apple pie. Audrey takes a reservation and says that Poppie’s is on 77th Street, but the exterior is actually on Third at 79th. Thanks Erkan B. for the tip!
