The Caddy (season 7, episode 12)
written by Gregg Kavet & Andy Robin, directed by Andy Ackerman
original airdate: January 25, 1996
Elaine’s nemesis, Sue Ellen Mischke, “the braless wonder,” causes her great stress. George’s abandoned car in the Yankee parking lot leaves Steinbrenner to think he’s dead. Contrary to Jackie Chiles’ legal counsel, Kramer’s golf caddy offers advice both on the green and in the courtroom.
Elaine tells the gang about Sue Ellen Mischke, “the braless wonder,” who she discovers was the cause of Jerry and Kramer’s accident, and encourages them (with Stan The Caddy’s assistance) to sue her. Kramer later discovers that Jerry was with Sue Ellen, and they argue over each other’s intentions for the lawsuit.
Jerry catches George skipping out on work, where he tells Jerry he is heading to the Ross’ rebuilt cabin, as he believes actually being at work could only hurt his chances of being Assistant to the General Manager.
George accidentally locks his keys in his car, leaving it at the stadium for almost a week…ending up with disastrous (and “fatal”) results.
Sue Ellen Mischke visits Elaine at work wearing a bra as a top, sparking a fashion trend for Peterman, the “Gatsby Swing Top.”
