The Doodle (season 6, episode 20)
written by Alec Berg & Jeff Schaffer, directed by Andy Ackerman
original airdate: April 6, 1995
George is upset by his girlfriend’s drawing of him. Jerry’s flea-infested apartment forces his parents into Elaine’s luxury hotel suite.
Jerry discovers his apartment is infested with fleas, thanks to Newman. Elaine is forced to scramble inside the fumigating apartment for a manuscript, while Kramer spends 90 minutes unknowingly making a sandwich and reading. Elaine tells George that Paula truly does like George, as “looks aren’t important to her.”
George shows Jerry and Elaine Paula’s doodle of him, a “Mr. Magoo” lookalike. Kramer takes Elaine through the Billy Mumphrey manuscript story, in the hopes Elaine will remember enough for her interview. George visits the coffee shop ensconced in velvet, much to Paula’s indifference.
